Charlotte and Luke

I knew from the moment I ‘zoomed’ with Charlotte and Luke their day was going to be epic; we clicked from that first chat and the countdown for their day began!

Charlotte instandly make me laugh when we met as her makeup was being done; after our chat I then started taking photos and she said she had totally forgotten I was there to do that! As the morning went on it seemed she needed constantly reminding that the wedding day was unfolding and the 3rd time of suggesting she might need to get her dress on… she finally did. When Andy her dad came into see her I just loved capturing every second, he took his time and really embraced the moment and therefore I got to capture it in so much detail.

The ceremony had been planned for outside however with the weather not being on side until later it was held inside and Hannah did the most amazing personal reading; even with messages from Luke’s children he teaches as school!

The rest of the day was party mode and as Charlotte and Luke live in Qatar it was great to see them catch up with old friends and for their new ones to meet family. I absolutely loved Joe the best man speeches as he sang and ‘played the guitar’ (actually a recording from a well hidden mini speaker) which had everyone falling about laughing. After that one of my favourite bands Velvet Soul kept the dance floor full long into the night.

I always tell my couples that they bring the party; the set the bar for fun and Charlotte and Luke did just that!
