Ridgeway Barns
Last year I went to Ridgeway Barns near Swindon for the first time; I actually ended up going there twice last year and I fell in love with it!
Just off the motorway, but far enough you are located in the stunning rolling hills of the Wiltshire countryside, this rustic Barn and country Farmhouse is a truly unique location to get married. With their friendly and well organised team it makes it one of my favourites; so you can imagine how excited I was when I was asked to join their trusted suppliers list!
At Ridgeway Barns you can get married in their rustic 19th Century Threshing Barn, outside under the trees or for a more intimate ceremony within their Farmhouse. What I love most is that you can hire the whole place for 3 days, with luxury bedrooms for 15 within the Farmhouse it means you can make your wedding day last that bit longer and continue to celebrate with loved ones for the whole weekend. Its a great adaptable space for all weathers with a permanent stretch tent located outside for your drinks reception for either the odd shower or shade and the large barn for dining and partying with fire pits for the evening.
What makes this venue stand out to me personally (along with being beautiful to shoot at) is the Ridgeway Barns team. Their approach to everyone; welcoming, helpful and most of all team players. Wedding days are a team effort from all suppliers and behind the scenes without the couples knowing we all work hard on the day, communicating constantly and have our clients at the forefront of everything we do. This for me is a true asset of any venue and truly sets the bar for a wedding day. Ridgeway Barns recently won Regionally Highly Commended at the Wedding Industry Awards and I totally understand why. Their work ethic is incredible and the attention to detail ticks all the boxes for my perfectionism! I can’t wait to work with them again soon!
